In 2016, they continue their dedication with the first community service project in January at the North Texas Foodbank. The Dallas team came together for a great service event where they helped to feed hundreds of families. 26 people including employees and their families, worked a 3-hour shift packing meals on wheels, boxes for the elderly, building snack boxes for children, and preparing large amounts of food to be shipped to communities around Texas.
“The volunteer coordinators that work at the food bank are unbelievable,” said Perficient Dallas office General Manager Tim Branham (pictured above, far right). “Many have worked there for 10+ years without collecting a dime. Now, that is passion for your fellow man.”
Other projects in 2015 included:

  • New Hope Equestrian Center, where the team helped prepare the special-needs-centered Horse Therapy farm for their annual Fall Festival.
  • Metrocrest Services, an organization that provides programs that lead to self-sufficiency and foster independence for individuals, families and seniors. 10 volunteers representing Perficient worked for a number of hours restocking and replenishing the toy displays as needed to help clients through the holiday store to selects gifts for their children for Christmas.

“Perficient Dallas realized early that the best way for our community learn about our people and our company was to show our heart,” Branham added. “Doing business with Perficient in Texas will be rewarding for businesses because we invest our time and talents into the relationships with our customers. Our 2016 pledge is 2,000 hours of service to our Houston and Dallas communities. We are all very excited about our service event schedule in 2016.”
