If any experience can test your strength as a team, navigating The Escape Room Fishers is certainly it. A group of eight of my Indianapolis colleagues recently gathered together to take part in a fun, interactive exercise outside of our office and client sites.
We were locked in a themed room and had 60 minutes to find clues, solve puzzles, and discover keys and combinations to escape. The setting for our adventure was the famed Neuschwanstein Castle in Europe.
We were tasked with reviewing research to uncover the mystery of the king’s death.
We split into groups, helped each other, and escaped (something not all participants do). It was a lot of fun. We proved that we can all work together under a stressful situation – and get along in the process.
I serve as the head of our office’s Culture Committee and thought The Escape Room Fishers offered a great opportunity to gather together consultants who might not see each other that often due to projects at client sites.
The event gave us a chance to become more comfortable working with each other. And working with friends is always more enjoyable.
