Perficient Digital Wins at W3 Awards for Mobile Work

Perficient Digital recently took home a Silver Award for mobile application, strategy, design, and development at the 2017 W 3 Awards for the work we did creating a self-service app for the Jackson Energy Authority (JEA) in western Tennessee.
We designed and built JEA a cross-platform mobile app for iOS and Android. The app greets users with a clean, interactive experience that allows them to check balances, pay bills, report or view power outages, and find service locations.
By offering customers a mobile solution to accomplish tasks that were previously only available in person, by phone, or by mail, JEA is now able to meet the demands of the modern consumer and expects to see a reduction in customer service phone calls, decreased visits to service locations, and an improved customer experience.
The W3 Awards, sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, recognize creative excellence on the web and honors the creative and marketing professionals behind the award-winning websites, videos, and marketing programs.
We also earned recognition at the 2016 W3 Awards, receiving a Gold and a Silver Award for work done on Carhartt’s Fall 2016 Lookbook microsite and The Henry Ford website, respectively.
