“The people I work with are my main motivation for getting out of bed in the morning,” Zach Handing, a senior technical consultant based in Perficient’s St. Louis office, recently told me.
There are so many benefits to working at Perficient, and the culture and work environment are certainly at the top of the list.
As with all Perficient locations, the team spirit in the St. Louis office runs strong. This year’s company picnic served as a chance to further strengthen the bonds colleagues cultivate every day and forge new relationships with co-workers outside of their departments.
The St. Louis team gathered at Faust Park in September for plenty of food and fun with friends and family. Which Wich catered the event with an assortment of meat-lover, vegetarian and kiddie sandwiches, and snow cones served as the perfect late-summer dessert.
Children and adults alike took a spin on an old-fashioned carousel installed on the park grounds in 1929. A balloon artist whipped up all of the inventive creations the kiddos threw his way. Departments waged friendly competitions during a challenging game of tug of war and sack and leg races. HR won first place – and a pizza party.
“This year’s company picnic was a huge success,” said Peggy Sannes, operations assistant at Perficient. “What a wonderful event to get to know each other and our families.”
