Just before the end of 2014, colleagues in Perficient’s China office took great pride in accepting a Best Employer Award from Zhaopin.com at the annual Sanya Forum.
The China Best Employer Awards are known as the Academy Awards of China’s human resources sector.
The Top 30 Employers of the Year list makes up the main category, and there are winners of five individual categories as well, including Top 10 Employers Gaining Most Attention from Undergraduates, Top 10 Employers Gaining Most Attention from Women and Best SME Employer.
Perficient was one of 10 companies to receive a Best SME Employer Award.
In the 2014 China Best Employer Survey, Zhaopin.com compared the expectations between the general public and employees of SMEs. Peking University’s Institute of Social Science Survey, one of organizers of the annual awards, took into consideration the unique characteristics of each firm as well as its advantages in terms of employer branding during the internal audit.
The top 100 employers came together during the ceremony on December 12 to discuss development, reform, challenges and opportunities concerning human resources management in China.
