B2B Companies Prioritize Mobile Technology Enhancements

My colleague Heather Bowman recently wrote about mobile trends in B2B selling on our IBM Blog: MCommerce in the B2B World
A recent study done by Regalix found that a lot of B2B companies are looking to focus on development of mobile websites and apps:
B2B-Tech
The study also demonstrates what their top priorities are for the mobile experience, starting with:

  1. Fast loading time for the website on mobile
  2. Personalized content on mobile
  3. Messages adapt for multiple devices/systems
  4. Behavioral segmentation

Mobile is big, and it’s here to stay. The way consumers purchase items every day is driving them to expect the same service and options when purchasing as a B2B buyer at work.
More than 70% of B2B buyers prefer the convenience of purchasing from a website over the experience of purchasing from a sales representative. (Source: Acquity Group, 2014)
