This year, our team has created countless memorable moments, from cheering on the Dallas Mavericks in the playoffs to sharing in the excitement of a Super Bowl pre-game party. They have also embraced fun and creativity with engaging challenges that spark friendly competition and collaboration across the team.
One of the highlights this year was stepping outside together to watch the solar eclipse, and sharing a unique experience. These moments capture the spirit of our office: a community where we work hard, celebrate together and support one another.
Our partnership with the Dallas Mavericks represents a big aspect of our office culture in Dallas. Since establishing our partnership with the NBA team, we have developed a multifaceted relationship that enhances our brand visibility and community engagement. Our partnership includes courtside and digital signage, and home game tickets throughout the season, allowing us to foster camaraderie and team spirit.
With a majority of our Dallas team being ardent fans of the Mavericks, this partnership is a source of personal excitement and team bonding, in addition to a business relationship. Each year, as the season unfolds, we look forward to participating in the thrilling atmosphere of Mavericks games, creating unforgettable memories and a strong sense of community within our organization. This partnership not only elevates our workplace culture but also underscores our commitment to being an integral part of the Dallas community.
Making a Difference in Our Community
Perficient’s Dallas team is passionate about giving back and making a real impact. The team consistently steps up to support those in need. During Hunger Action Month, the team collected over 900 jars of peanut butter, filling three trucks and providing more than 800 meals for food-insecure children in their community. The team also volunteered with Feed My Starving Children, packing 83 Manna Pack Rice Bags – each bag provided balanced meals for up to six families in need.
In addition, for the second year in a row, the Dallas team organized a back-to-school backpack drive, filling over 50 backpacks with essentials to help local students start the year with confidence. And because no challenge is complete without a little fun, the Dallas team encouraged donations by letting colleagues pie them in the face – all in good spirits and for a great cause!
Our Dallas team is committed to providing opportunities to advance STEM education in the metropolitan area. We have collaborated with the Mark Cuban Foundation over the past few years to offer high school students Artificial Intelligence (AI) Bootcamps. These bootcamps are free for the students and introduce AI through educational seminars, interactive lessons, and lab exercises. Our local colleagues are invited to contribute their expertise and volunteer for sessions to make a difference in these students’ lives.
