Marty Frygier is committed to helping healthcare organizations deliver better care. We recently sat down to discuss the many facets of his role and what he values about our company culture. Marty, thank you for joining me today. To start, could you tell me more about your role and how you provide value to healthcare organizations?

I am an account director with Perficient, serving many of the largest healthcare organizations in the world. This is a business role which is focused on ensuring that our clients are thrilled with our work and aware of the many ways that Perficient can help them better serve their own customers.
Although I am more focused on the business aspects of our client relationships, I work closely with our delivery teams to ensure that our clients are very satisfied with the strategic guidance and services which we provide.
I am proud of the long-term relationships that we have been able to build, as I have been serving many of our healthcare clients for 10 years or longer.

What do you value about working for our global digital consultancy?
It’s my responsibility to ensure the best outcomes for our clients and for Perficient. I enjoy working with our clients each day and having the trust of Perficient leadership to ensure their satisfaction and success.

How did you begin your career at Perficient, and what makes you excited about the future?
I joined Perficient 13 years ago. This was when we were just beginning to expand our healthcare practice. I was excited about the opportunity and challenge to grow our business while using our capabilities to improve healthcare around the world.
The opportunities that we have to make an impact in healthcare are still expanding as we add services, and this keeps me motivated for our future.
How does Perficient’s dedication to diversity and inclusion make us stronger?
We are all better when we bring many different perspectives together. When everyone feels like their perspective is being heard and that they are a valued member of our work community, this is even more so.

In addition to your work as an account executive, you’re also deeply committed to your community and family. Can you tell me more about your involvement at the HELP Foundation?
The Frygier family
When I’m not serving Perficient as an account executive, my wife, Michelle, and I pour our efforts into the HELP Foundation, an Ohio-based nonprofit that provides homes and assistance for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This foundation was launched in 1965 by parents of special-needs children who saw too few resources to meet their families’ needs. It was not long ago that individuals with special needs – especially those from families lacking resources to help them – faced difficult, solitary lives.
HELP strives to assist individuals starting in early childhood. Young adults receive assistance to finish school, live on their own, and have employment and a social life, among other things.
We have been involved since 2010, when a friend first invited us to visit the program. As parents of children with special needs, we were impressed with the HELP Foundation’s efforts to ensure that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are respected and involved members of their communities. The foundation serves hundreds of people annually through group homes, supported apartments, summer programming for students, daytime and vocational programming for adults, and a specialized program for senior citizens.
I currently serve as the President of the Board of Trustees at HELP, where we support pathways that give every individual the chance to thrive and reach their full ability, contributing to a vibrant, inclusive community.
Understanding what an important part of my life my work at Perficient is, I’m proud of the work HELP has done to empower people with special needs to find employment. Although the people get excited about their new source of income, I find the most significant benefit to be the pride that they take in having employment.
