On June 8th, our Detroit Bright Paths Alumni came together to connect with each other and our social media networks with this Detroit Selfie Museum Event. Located within the Novi’s 12 Oaks Mall, the Detroit Selfie Museum is quoted as “an immersive photography playground that will inspire you to unlock your imagination and capture jaw-dropping photos” by its website. For many, this event was the first time meeting new and fellow alumni in person for the very first time. The event began with some introductions in the lobby of the museum. Following that, a brief explanation of the activities planned was given.
Event attendees were encouraged to take pictures and short videos of their time together. Also provided, Perficient merch consisting of hats, drawstring backpacks, and water bottles! Several photos and videos feature them. In addition, a few alumni were interviewed about their time at Perficient.
In conclusion, our time at the museum offered a fun pause from the incredible work we get to do. Attendees had a play at an afternoon filled with great memories and people. Then, throughout a meal filled with wonderful conversation and laughter at the Sedona Taphouse located in the mall, the good times kept rolling.
