What is your current role? Describe a typical day in the life.
I am currently working with a manufacturing client’s digital marketing program to enhance solutions developed during their marketing automation migration to Salesforce.
How does your role support Perficient? How are you making an impact? What impact do you hope to make?
My role helps support Perficient as I develop the technical solution that is based on a lot of work from our business consultants and solution architects. It is very critical that the technical solution supports the vision for what the business wants.
What are your proudest accomplishments, personally and professionally? Any milestone moments at Perficient?
I am proud of collaborating with my team to deliver a complex marketing automation system for our client in such a short timeframe of a few months. I am also proud of mentoring others and helping them grow and learn professionally through our team.
What has your experience at Perficient taught you? What is something you’ve learned that you want to share/what advice would you give to others?
I’ve learned that it truly takes a village (in this case, a team) to deliver quality products for our clients.

What motivates you in your daily work?
What motivates me is to deliver high-quality work to our clients and at the same time, mentor and help others.
How have you grown your career with Perficient?
I have received Certified Scrum Developer and Scrum Foundation certifications, as well as Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications. Outside of learning Salesforce, I have gained a lot of confidence in terms of public speaking.
How have you personally helped advance Perficient’s business during your career here?
My team members and I have built a lot of the technical solution for the marketing automation interface in Salesforce that the client currently uses. And I have also tried to build strong relationships with clients. This helps our team when the client trusts our business unit.
If you had to define yourself using one Perficient value, which would it be and why?
I would say Collaboration. Perficient excels in collaborating together with our teams to figure out critical solutions for our clients.
What are you passionate about outside of work? 
I love spending time with my wife, Kiesha. I also love biking, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends.
What’s something surprising people might not know about you or your background?
I have six siblings and my parents were born in Nigeria – they emigrated to the United States as adults. It was my interest in computers and software from a young age that brought me to become a developer.
What goals do you have for personal and professional development?
My goal is to learn more about Scrum development and to learn more about the Salesforce environment through their certifications and Trailheads.
Perficient believes in a strong work/life balance. What is one way you accomplish this?
Spending time with colleagues for happy hour and taking time on the weekends to rejuvenate for the next week with loved ones.
What’s one thing you wish your colleagues knew about you?
That I only decided to become a developer several years after completing my undergraduate degree. It was something my mother saw in me that made me pursue it.
