On April 6th, our Lafayette US Delivery Center (LDC) celebrated the end of the first quarter of 2022 with a News & Brews event at the local office.
This was the largest in-person event that the LDC had hosted since the start of the pandemic. The event drew more than 40 colleagues and friends back into the office. While the office has remained open for those who want to come in, there are typically only a handful of regulars.
But on Wednesday, the office was bustling.
Colleagues filled into the space, with lots of reunions among teammates; some of whom hadn’t been in the same place or seen each other except through the lens of Microsoft Teams in two years. For others, this was their first time meeting any of their colleagues in person.

The event officially kicked off at 3pm with some trivia games and the recognition of new hires and recent promotions. Area Vice President MaryBeth Ostasz joined the LDC in welcoming our special guest, Joel Stanesa, general manager, Detroit, to the Lafayette office as well.
Following that, the LDC team celebrated some of their first quarter accomplishments, including:
- 36 new hires
- 52 clients
- 92 projects
- and Perficient’s highest Glassdoor rating yet: 4.2!
After the news and the brews and the pizza were done, the comradery continued with a rousing game of ping pong and a trip to the beer garden across the street.
