The Alliance Manager role is a leadership position focused on the stewardship of our Salesforce and MuleSoft partnerships.

Adam joins our team with prior experience supporting the Salesforce ecosystem in sales, consulting, marketing, and alliances roles. He is excited to be joining Perficient because of the notable culture and exceptional structure of the alliance team (he can’t wait to see firsthand how it maximizes the effectiveness and impact of each partner alliance).

Adam calls Carmel, IN home where he is a father, husband, and doting dog dad. He spends his free time renovating his (second) house, spending time with family, and playing golf or tennis.

Question 1: What is your overall goal as the new Salesforce and MuleSoft Alliance lead? Describe how you plan to achieve that goal?

Adam: To build a stronger partnership with both Salesforce and MuleSoft and to build this alliance internally at Perficient as a key demand generation channel. I plan on achieving this by…

  • Elevating Perficient’s partner status in both Salesforce and MuleSoft’s respective partner programs
  • Positioning Perficient as a go-to partner for Salesforce and MuleSoft through constant engagement with our partners to generate new opportunities directly through the channel
  • Ensuring alignment between Perficient and Salesforce account teams to launch partner sales and account planning efforts within Perficient
  • Proactively monitoring our partner community portal and partnership governance documents to ensure alignment throughout pursuit lifecycle and track to closure

Question 2: What is your main responsibility in this role?

Adam: I am primarily responsible for making sure Perficient is top of mind for both partner sales and account teams at both Salesforce and MuleSoft, so they think of us when talking to their customers about implementation. Internally, I am responsible for ensuring that my daily operating requirements for our Salesforce and MuleSoft partnerships are effectively managed, and performance objectives are achieved by providing thought leadership and guidance on go-to-market strategy and solution focus.

Question 3: How do you plan to promote Perficient and our partnerships with Salesforce and MuleSoft?

Adam: Goal #1 for me is going to be elevating our partner status at both Salesforce and MuleSoft through tight focus on their partner programs. I also plan to actively promote the Perficient brand within the various partner and channel teams, ensuring awareness of Perficient’s competitive differentiators and client success stories. I will also advocate for partner products and solutions across Perficient business units and selling teams.

Question 4: Do you have any advice for our sellers and consultants?

Adam: Always be on the lookout for new partner licenses! Our contribution to licensing sales for Salesforce and MuleSoft is the #1 way to elevate Perficient for each channel. This is obvious for our sales teams, but as a consultant working on a project, you might hear a customer talking about potential opportunities or adding additional licenses for Salesforce and MuleSoft products. If you hear anything like this, please let me know.

Question 5: What are you most excited for as the new Salesforce and MuleSoft Alliance Manager?

Adam: It’s cheesy to say the team, but it’s the team for me. I’ve been in the sales and alliance world for a while now and the way Perficient’s alliance and marketing teams are structured is truly best in class. I’ve also been blown away so far by the work our marketing team is doing, and I think there is a lot to look forward to in terms of growth and new opportunities for Perficient to gain traction with both Salesforce and MuleSoft.
