Digital transformation takes strategy, time, and intensive know-how. Now, pile on the dose of present day acceleration necessary in response to COVID-19. When digital transformation has to happen seemingly overnight, the challenge becomes all the more daunting for those trying to go it alone.
The online tech community Built in Boston recently connected with Paul Griffiths of our Boston-based healthcare team to explore how organizations are adjusting midst COVID. His prediction? After COVID-19 passes, digital transformation will be here to stay.
In recent months, our healthcare specialists have witnessed tech-driven acceleration unlike any other time in the industry. Where companies once considered transformations as future objectives, they’ve now had to fast forward and quickly make them a reality… now.
Demand during the COVID-19 pandemic has left B2B healthcare industry manufacturers and distributors struggling to keep up. Subsequently, many organizations have discovered gaps in areas of their business such as ecommerce, site experience, product information management (PIM), and more.
Companies are leveraging many meaningful day-to-day shifts in order to respond during this time, including us.
Here are a few techniques we’re using here in the virtual halls of Perficient:
- Strategy collaborations, virtually. Multiple teams are keeping their finger on the pulse of healthcare through shared strategy collaboration and meetings via Microsoft Teams.
- Creative solution-centered approaches. Recent launches include tech solutions that streamline payor lending to healthcare providers and shore up healthcare call centers. And we continue to create new solutions daily.
- Collaboration with technology partners. From COVID-specific chatbot solutions with Drift or Microsoft, to a free healthcare integration with Salesforce we believe in the power of partnerships to amplify innovation.
- Fully remote and ready. Our team of nearly 4,000 colleagues around the world are ready and willing to work in collaboration with brands nationwide.
We are thankful to the many healthcare professionals selflessly dedicated to the health and safety of our communities. And we consider it an honor to help them meet the needs of a public in search for answers and quality care.
