After months of snow and cold weather, one Saturday afternoon in February of 2020, more than 70 Perficient colleagues came together for a company party in Centennial, Colorado.
Team Bonding at Top Golf
It was as if the clouds parted just for this day! The weather was beautiful, bright and sunny in the upper sixties, as Perficient colleagues showed up and began filing into the twenty golf bays Perficient booked at the local Top Golf facility.

Teammates had the opportunity to play and compete in a variety of interesting Top Golf games. Between the flowing conversation and team bonding, colleagues practiced their golf swing and enjoyed the day.

One reason the Top Golf event was so favored is the lack of pressure to have a good swing, know the rules, or score points; it’s all about everyone having fun and allows golfers and non-golfers alike to participate on the same level.
Getting to Know Other Teams
With many different teams working in the same office, events like this are great to spend time with people you may only see in the hallway. We may be working on different projects, but we’re all still one team.
It’s important to see other sides of your fellow coworkers to be able to connect. “Community is so important in our lives and jobs. It was great to have everyone come together and spend time as a team,” Vanessa Case, Account Manager, shared enthusiastically.

Perficient looks forward to hosting more in-person team events in the future, and is thankful to have been able to offer this experience to colleagues. Happy hours may have turned virtual for now, but the company spirit is alive and well.
