Success at Work and On the Trails

Early this March, Perficient’s St. Louis Bike Team took a leisurely ride at Grant’s Trail. The team, which was founded in the summer of 2019, has spent the past year exploring Missouri’s scenic trails. Grant’s Trail stretches eight miles through St. Louis County and made for a beautiful ride for the team.

Perficient Bike Club Top Job

“I am a firm supporter of companies that invest in the environment and in their people. At Perficient, we are encouraged to share what matters to us by joining a group or creating one if one does not exist. I am very excited to be part of the Perficient Bike Club. Cycling is a big part of my life and it feels good to be able to share that with my fellow teammates and work for a company that supports my passion and invests in my well-being.” — Jeremy Limones, Associate Marketing Coordinator

Biking Creates Healthy Opportunities to Hang Out

Harvard Health advocates for bike riding, claiming that “going for a ride is good for your heart and muscles, and it may improve how you walk, balance, and climb stairs.” Specifically, it mentions the top benefits to biking include it’s easy on the joints, pushing pedals provides an aerobic workout, cycling builds muscle, it helps with everyday activities, and that pedaling builds bone.

Spend Quality Time with Fellow Perficient Colleagues

Their primary goal is to stay active while getting to know each other. The team members come from a variety of departments within the company, but they all have one thing in common: their passion for cycling!

At Perficient, there are multiple employee committees to sit on that promote a healthy work life balance — whatever that looks like to you. From Sustainability, Women in Tech, Giving Back, Book Clubs, Culture, Fitness, and more, there are topics for everyone to find something they like.
