Our team in St. Louis recently gathered together for their annual holiday toy drive. This year, the team decided to participate in the St. Louis Crisis Nursery Holiday Hearts program.
The St. Louis Crisis Nursery provides short-term, emergency shelter for children whose families are faced with a crisis. The Crisis Nursery is on the front line to fight against child abuse and neglect, and can only do so through generous donations of those in the area. Donations are taken over the holidays for their Holiday Hearts program that matches gift bags to children who are staying at Crisis Nurseries and other shelters on or around the holidays.
Our Perficient St. Louis colleagues are moved by the mission of the St. Louis Crisis Nursery and have found participating in the Holiday Hearts program truly rewarding. The St. Louis office met their goal of sponsoring at least 50 children this holiday season.
General Manager Jason Hudnall was excited about the success of the program:
“There were hundreds of toys resulting in us being able to support more than 50 kids here locally, each receiving great presents this holiday season. Rest assured there will be some wonderful smiles that the St. Louis Perficient team helped to impact.”
