#HIMSS18 Session: First-Ever Cloud Implementation of IBM UDMH

HIMSS18 is right around the corner. This year, more than 45,000 professionals from around the world will gather in the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Las Vegas, March 5-9 to help uncover the promise of health information and technology. The conference will bring world-class education, cutting-edge products and solutions, and unique networking opportunities to help healthcare organizations solve their biggest health information and technology challenges.

This year, I will be presenting a lightening session on how a leading integrated delivery organization, became the first organization to implement the IBM UDMH in the cloud. I will discuss how the organization is leveraging a consolidated, modern, cloud-based data platform, using IBM’s UDMH, to enable research teams to have a holistic view of the patient’s experience. We will also explore the organization’s journey to the cloud including: drivers, challenges, benefits, and lessons learned.
