Food Drive Gives Civic-Minded Perficient Consultants a Chance to Give Back

In less than one week, our Indianapolis team collected nearly 124 pounds of food for Open Doors of Washington Township.
The organization strives to improve the quality of life for Washington Township residents in Westfield, IN, through food and clothing assistance, referral to community services, and spiritual guidance.

Even though we all have busy lives outside of work, our team is always willing to step up to help local organizations. The food drive gave my civic-minded colleagues yet another opportunity to give back and raise awareness for both the need and the charitable organization.

For myself, knowing that what I am doing is helping others is a blessing. You may never see the person or people that you helped and that’s OK because it’s not “giving back” if you are expecting something in return.
I believe most people want to help, but they sometimes don’t know how to help or who to help. I’m grateful that my team embraces any opportunity to give back to our local community.
