Our Detroit team recently ran a school supply drive for Peace Neighborhood Center, a local organization that provides programs for children, families, and individuals who are affected by social and economic problems.
The collection included high-quality backpacks and assorted school supplies for the center’s College and Career Prep Club as a part of an annual Back-to-School Supply Drive.

“I was really impressed with the way everyone stepped up and immediately supported this effort,” said Perficient Detroit General Manager Joel Stanesa. “We look forward to continuing to give back to the community.”

A representative of Peace Neighborhood Center told us that the “generous donation will help Peace continue its mission to offer crucial programs and services to area families.”
Our Detroit team often comes together to help the local community. In January, colleagues donated 6,000 meals through the 104.3 WOMC Great Office Challenge. The radio station’s friendly competition among local businesses raised funds for Gleaners Community Food Bank. Our Detroit team’s online donations totaled $1,124.17 – enough to win the challenge.
