As we head into the new year, one thing we’ve been thinking a lot about at Perficient is, “What’s next in the corporate intranet space, and what does it mean to have a ‘modern’ intranet?” We’re always striving to be at the cutting edge of digital transformation, and intranets are no exception.
To know where we’re going, we wanted to first understand where the intranet space is currently. What software is being used, and how? What social tools and add-ins are the most popular? What upgrades are organizations planning? To answer these questions and more, we polled more than 100 attendees at Microsoft Ignite 2016. Their backgrounds ranged from intranet administrators to users and everyone in between.
