We all have our normal workstations setup just the way we like them. The monitor, or most likely, monitors, speakers, mouse, desk space, etc. But what happens when you need to work away from your normal workstation? I always feel cramped looking into the single viewport on my laptop. I’m definitely not as productive as when I have all of my monitors (two plus my laptop screen in my case).
I recently discovered the AOC e1659Fwux- Pro USB 3.0 portable LED monitor. This monitor is great to throw in my laptop case and take along with me. It comes with it’s own protective case and only weighs 3.5 pounds, so it doesn’t add a huge amount of heft to my case. It is USB 3.0 powered, which means that it doesn’t require an external power source. It has a beautifully bright and crisp led screen with 1920×1080 full HD resolution. It has a built in kickstand and works in portrait or landscape mode.
I highly recommend this monitor to anyone that works away from their normal workstation with any frequency. I find the benefit gain going from one to two monitors is huge. More so than the benefit gain of going from two to three monitors.
