Amy Barnes jumped at the opportunity to develop a new finance team and broaden her skills.
“I was hired into Perficient’s Corporate Accounting department as the accounting manager in 2000. As Perficient grew, the Finance department recognized the need for a centralized Business Operations department. I began leading this team in 2006 as the senior business operations manager, a new position.
“I jumped at this opportunity because it gave me the chance to develop a new team as well as use my accounting background and learn about the operations side of our business. I was promoted to director and then managing director in 2013.
“Perficient has given me the opportunity to learn new skills and gain new experiences. I am thankful that Perficient trusted me to develop and grow the Business Operations team. I do not take that opportunity for granted.”

Zach Handing embraced challenging projects to transition into lead roles.
“Within Perficient XD, there is tremendous opportunity for training for which I have always been grateful. However, I see the most professional growth when I’m placed on projects that challenge me. Good old-fashioned hard work and a can-do attitude have lead me to my current position.
