Three colleagues share firsthand how they’ve carved out successful career paths at Perficient:
AmyBarnes_image_leftAmy Barnes jumped at the opportunity to develop a new finance team and broaden her skills.
“I was hired into Perficient’s Corporate Accounting department as the accounting manager in 2000. As Perficient grew, the Finance department recognized the need for a centralized Business Operations department. I began leading this team in 2006 as the senior business operations manager, a new position.
“I jumped at this opportunity because it gave me the chance to develop a new team as well as use my accounting background and learn about the operations side of our business. I was promoted to director and then managing director in 2013.
“Perficient has given me the opportunity to learn new skills and gain new experiences. I am thankful that Perficient trusted me to develop and grow the Business Operations team. I do not take that opportunity for granted.”


Zach_Handing_finalZach Handing embraced challenging projects to transition into lead roles.

“Within Perficient XD, there is tremendous opportunity for training for which I have always been grateful. However, I see the most professional growth when I’m placed on projects that challenge me. Good old-fashioned hard work and a can-do attitude have lead me to my current position.
“The people I work with are my main motivation for getting out of bed in the morning. I’m still blown away that they all put up with me, and it genuinely seems that at least half of them actually like working with me, too. The people, the culture, the atmosphere – they are why I enjoy working at Perficient and why I’ve stayed here for four years and some change.”


Sreenu_DindiSreenu Dindi gained confidence in management skills and new technologies.
“Perficient has not only encouraged me to take lead roles and opportunities but also provided me with all the right resources to face those challenges. The amount of talented resources that Perficient has and their willingness to always help you out are what made me grow successfully in this company.
“There are a couple of long-term insurance projects where I had to mentor and train junior-level resources onshore and offshore early in my career; this role helped me garner expertise and knowledge in managing and building teams. Successfully handling these teams instilled a lot of confidence in me and helped me grow in my career. All these years, Perficient has been very supportive and flexible in letting me explore newer technologies and improve my skills.”
