The big news is that Oracle is gaining new business from customers who are seeking cloud solutions. not just existing customers seeking to upgrade . According to Forbes, “Many Oracle Cloud customers are new to Oracle—70% of them had not previously licensed software from Oracle.”

Bloomberg reported that Oracle Cloud now supports 35 million users and processes 34 billion transactions each day, with Kurian adding, “We’re up to 35,000 companies using our cloud.”
