The company has developed a revolutionary blood test that doesn’t require big needles, a lot of blood, or even a doctor’s order. Just a prick on the finger that even your kids can bear. With Theranos, you can order blood tests on your own, some for the cost of a McDonald’s Happy Meal (the company even offers a test menu on their site!). 

According to their website, here’s how it works:

1. Get a lab order

Ask your physician to write you a lab order or download one of our forms.

2. Get tested

Bring any lab order to a Theranos Wellness Center™ located inside a participating Walgreens.

While the company is transforming the lab order business by making tests affordable for everyone, they’re also keeping up with the digital times. Theranos has an iOS and Android mobile app that helps you find Theranos Wellness Centers and makes viewing results quick and easy.

Now, just imagine seeing a McDonald’s-style sign for Theranos on side of the highway: Billions and Billions Served.
