Search should be easy…is it?

How many times have you searched your corporate intranet to find a document that you know is “THERE” but you can’t find it? How many times have you searched the intranet, a shared drive, and ancillary support systems and still can’t find what you are looking for? How many times have you sent a note to a colleague asking the location of a document…that you know is out there “somewhere!”   I have and it zaps my productivity.
Google Search for Work is designed to help users, like me, find documents inside the company as easy as searching using Google.com. With the demands of big data and the seemingly exponential growth of information companies are beginning to take a more serious look at enterprise search solutions to help connect and manage information. We recently reviewed market research and spoke with numerous clients and our teams who implement Google Search for Work, to understand the business drivers, ROI , and the most common use cases. The outcome was our 5-minute Guide to Enterprise Search, which helps companies not only look at the market dynamics at play, but also how to justify and base results on others successes with Google Enterprise Search.
