Perficient Receives NewsGator’s 2012 Partner of the Year Award!

I’m excited to announce the news – this week at the 2013 NewsGator Collective in Denver, Colorado, the Perficient team was awarded NewsGator’s 2012 Partner of the Year Award for the second time!

For the second year in a row, we are excited to announce this year’s recipient. Perficient has continued to drive strategic development on the NewsGator environment and more importantly, customers continue to rave about the work they do.  Perficient uses Social Sites internally as well, which has added to their ability to drive innovation both internally and externally for their customers.

Rich Wood, Director of Perficient’s National SharePoint Practice, yesterday shared what the honor boils down to and why it matters:

  • Social technology adoption requires three-way teamwork

The annual event for NewsGator partners and clients included three days of interactive workshops, networking events, success stories, and thought leadership sessions around social business value and understanding. This year’s Collective also featured the first Collective Hackathon, where attendees worked directly with NewsGator developers to add a feature to Social Sites. The results may just make it into the next version – we’ll have to wait and see!
