Microsoft Dynamics Convergence 2013- Time to Register!

ConvergenceLogo

It is that time of year to make plans for the annual Microsoft Dynamics Convergence. March 18-21, 2013 it is back in New Orleans. This is an opportunity for approximately 9,000 Microsoft Dynamics Customers/Users (the main focus of the conference), Microsoft Employees and Microsoft Partners to get together to talk about the latest and greatest with their respective products. Currently the Microsoft Dynamics line includes ERP packages- GP, AX, SL and NAV. It also includes Dynamics CRM. The buzz in recent years has been around CRM and this year will be no exception.  Here is a quick recap about past Convergence locations (useless trivia):

  • 2013 – New Orleans
  • 2012 – Houston
  • 2011 – Atlanta (yes two years in a row)
  • 2010 – Atlanta
  • 2009 – New Orleans
  • 2008 – Orlando (this was my first time at Convergence)
  • 2007 – San Diego (let’s hope it returns to SD soon!)
  • 2006 – Dallas
  • There were many before but most were ERP only (Microsoft Business Solutions Conferences)

The benefit of being at this conference is not only to hear from experts on the future of your Dynamics system but also to network with others who are in your industry/field to understand how they are using the Dynamics to help their business. Many different tracks are available for both business professionals and technical experts. Take a look through the details and you will be able to determine the best path for yourself. There is a great Expo to understand who has what available that may be able to quickly enable your business to take your system to the next level.
This year the entertainment will be headlined by Matchbox Twenty and the Keynote Speaker will be former Secretary-General of the United Nations Kofi Annan.
Early registration ends January 25th and you can save $300. Take advantage of it and register today. Plus hotels and air flights book up quickly. For more information just go to the official site.
Many of our Perficient customers plan to attend, so please let me know if you will be there so I can help get you connected with the right people. There are some great opportunities to connect with key people in and outside of Microsoft. We will also be hosting Perficient special events at the conference exclusive for our customers.
