With Fall fast approaching it’s time for SharePoint Fest Chicago! The Perficient team has presented at every SharePoint Fest in Chicago and Denver to date. This year we’re excited to have three colleagues from our Chicago team present as you can read in our press release here
Perficient will serve as a gold sponsor and present on SharePoint 2013 at Microsoft’s SharePoint Fest – Chicago, which takes place Sept. 25-27 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. SharePoint Fest – Chicago offers developers, architects and knowledge workers technical classes and seminars on topics like Enterprise Content Management, Infrastructure and Business Intelligence. The sessions are taught by Microsoft Certified Trainers, engineers and MVPs.
Microsoft’s SharePoint 2013, currently in a pre-release preview, enables businesses to improve collaborative processes and enhance access to an organization’s knowledge base. Within one seamless business platform, it can support a variety of intranet, extranet, and web applications for an enterprise. Perficient experts Amol Ajgaonkar, David Greve and Matt Morse will each present on the new platform’s functions and ability to power an organization’s business performance.
- Perficient Senior Technical Architect Amol Ajgaonkar will present “Mobile Mania: Development Strategies for SharePoint 2013.” In his presentation, Ajgaonkar will discuss the need for organizations to devise a strategy to maximize their SharePoint investments to account for the mobile device user. Attendees also will learn how to mobile-optimize their website in SharePoint 2013, and how to build mobile applications using SharePoint 2013 and other frameworks.
- David Greve, Perficient solution delivery director and Microsoft Office 365 MVP, will present “Building Your Core Office 365 Foundation to Support SharePoint Online.” Having recently co-authored the book “Microsoft Office 365: Exchange Online Implementation and Migration,” Greve will review the core foundation necessary to set up integration with an on-premise Active Directory environment and Office 365. Greve will reflect on the user experience and how that plays a role in leveraging SharePoint Online.
- Matt Morse, Perficient practice director, SharePoint, will present “SharePoint 2013: New Power for Your Website.” In his presentation, Morse will discuss how SharePoint 2013 can best be utilized as a public-facing web content management system. Specifically, Morse will discuss how organizations can keep content fresh, while distributing content ownership across many individuals within the organization, how the power of search can drive dynamic content on a site, increasing conversions and engaging users, and how SharePoint is positioned to deliver compelling user experiences.
